Patrick Huey

Accredited Tax Preparer

Victory Independent Planning Camas, WA

About

Patrick Huey helps individuals and families navigate the complex financial decisions that shape retirement.

His approach goes beyond investment management, bringing together retirement planning, investment strategy, tax awareness, charitable and legacy considerations, and the many interconnected decisions that determine how wealth ultimately supports a life.

Patrick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy®, and an Accredited Tax Preparer. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Pittsburgh and his MBA from Arizona State University.

Before entering financial services, Patrick served in Naval aviation from 1996 to 2005. He flew during combat operations and was awarded the Strike Flight Air Medal and two Navy Achievement Medals. That experience helped shape a planning philosophy grounded in preparation, discipline, and thoughtful decision-making under uncertainty.

At Victory Independent Planning, Patrick doesn’t believe the job is to predict every turn ahead. It’s to help clients understand the whole picture, prepare intentionally, and make important financial decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

Outside of the office, Patrick is an author of books spanning history, finance, and fiction. He enjoys golf and tennis, volunteers with Our Daily Bread Food Pantry on Marco Island, and occasionally trades financial planning for the stage as an actor.
